About the author
Charlotte Østergaard is a Danish visual artist/designer, educator, and researcher in between the fields of costume, textile, and performing art. Charlotte has designed costumes for more than 65 performances and her costume-driven performances has been shown at, for example, at PQ2019 (a collaboration with Sally E. Dean), Walking Copenhagen (2020), Up Close performance festival (2020), and SWOP (2022). Charlotte has received several grants from the Danish Art Foundation, and her artworks are represented in the collections of Danish Design Museum and The National Gallery of Denmark. 
In her artistic research (Malmö Theatre Academy, Lund University) costume act as a medium to study co-creative processes of co-creatively listening and thinking though and with costume.
