The fourth issue of Matter features a collection of texts, images, and poetry that reflect the activities of All My Relations Ecocamp #4, which took place at Gylleboverket in Skåne in September 2024. Over the course of three days, around twenty artists and researchers gathered to explore the themes of relationality and the connections between humans and the more-than-human world. This issue delves into ecological thinking as a lived and sensorial experience. Grounded in the permaculture landscape of the site, it combines practical and poetic actions to illustrate how a temporary community can contribute to a sustainable future. The issue demonstrates how artistic practice and theoretical reflection can open up new ways of relating to nature, place, and one another.

The third issue of Matter brings together texts that explore contemporary performing arts. Tanja Hylling Diers writes about Hjem, a project that shapes place and community through art and participation. Jörgen Dahlqvist examines time as a dramaturgical tool, using the play Trädgårdsgatan as an example. Charlotte Østergaard highlights ethical issues in costume performances in public spaces. Dahlqvist and Fredrik Haller introduce the conversational theatre, an interactive theatre format for social dialogue. Vanja Hamidi Isacson concludes with a study of multilingualism in performing arts, where polyvocality creates new forms of expression.

The second issue of Matter is the second edition in a three-part publication series for All My Relations, featuring a single entry. The Beauty Box is a digital booklet showcasing photographs of reflection cards created by participants of All My Relations 2 during the workshop held in 2023, These cards, filled with words and drawings, capture the participants' appreciation of beauty – a mindful practice that contrasts with a common tendency to focus on flaws. Initially gathered in a box on-site, these reflections have now been photographed and collected in a pdf in this issue.

All my Relations: Eco-Pedagogy, Self-Cultivation and Transformative Performance Practices
was a workshop event organised jointly by the Malmö Theatre Academy and Lund University’s Agenda 2030 cross disciplinary Graduate School on 2nd–4th September 2022. The event invited researchers, artists and artist-researchers interested in how humans can change their mindset and behaviour to reflect on a more sustainable lifestyle through art and performance. In this issue we have collected texts, photos and drawings to capture the event.
